Information about our taxi driver

Meletis is an independent taxi driver working mainly between Chania City/Chania airport and the area of Sougia (Sougia, Omalos, Paleochora and all the villages in between).

Meletis is a friendly, careful and considerate driver and will be happy to look after you at any time of the day or night all year round.

While his main work consists of driving people between Chania City/ Chania airport to Sougia (or vice versa) and Sougia-Omalos (Samaria Gorge), he will often take people on other trips in the region, too, for instance to the gorge of Agia Irini or Elafonisi Beach. Sougia taxi Car Type (Taxi or Minivan)

Taxi: The taxi is a spacious and comfortable VW Touran which can take up to 4 passengers and plenty of luggage.

Minivan: In case you are a bigger group of people the minivan can take up to 9 passengers with plenty room for luggage

Please note that there are only very few taxi drivers in the region, and in the Sougia area so if you need a taxi or minivan to any of these destinations, it is safer to arrange in advance.
